We had the Waterberg yearly Commemoration Day on the 12 August at Waterberg Namibia.
This commemorates the Jan 1904 Herero Uprising and the battle of Waterberg in Aug 1904

I believe it was one of the bigger battles ever fought on the african continent. My relative was serving at Waterberg as an artillerie unteroffizier so I also commemorated this event privately, at my home.
