Hi Chris,
Sorry I forget to mention the source. The book deal with all German Colonies. For me very interesting
are the many personal records of individuals of all branches, and of course a few rare photos.
Kämpfer an vergessenen Fronten, Wolfgang Förster 1931

Here a view additional photos from Cameroun:

Re: Pictures of German Cameroun
.
The following 35 photos are taken as selection from the Book:
»Massa wann kommst du wieder« Fried Lange, Nach Tagebuchaufzeichnungen und
Schilderungen des Kamerunkämpfers K.E. Schulz, Völkischer Verlag Düsseldorf GmbH, 1942
As far as I find out, it was Polizeimeister / Feldwebel (Sergeant Major) Karl Emil Schulz who wrote this original war diary.
It´s not really clear if Schulz belonged the 7. or 8. Company of the Cameroun Schutztruppe which fought around Garua,
but he was be able to muddle through the South and cross the border to Spanish Region of Equatorial Guinea, Río Muni.
