Location of British Fort Majoreni in BEA?

Does any of the readers have any idea about the location of Majoreni?

In 1914, there was a bold plan to conduct a raid against Mombasa with the support of the light cruiser SMS Koenigsberg. However, the navy was "elsewhere" and the raid only got a few kilometers beyond the border - until Majoreni

Afrikanische Fronten

Methner described this in his book: "Unter drei Gouverneuren".

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for that.

I suspected Fort Majoreni near Mount Kilimanjaro as a defensive part around Taveta. (- :? -)

So far I hadn't heard of the name Majoreni and had to google again.

In four weeks I will look if I can find any remaining parts there.

We want to treat ourselves to some `equatorial sun´ again on the coast in East Africa at Christmas and New Year.
