Hello all,
Ive published a book through Casemate on Jan Smuts and his First Word War in Africa. It deals extensively with his Germans South West and German East African campaigns. I offer new insights inoto the South African way of war and Smuts's interpretation of South African manouevre doctrine. The book is available on Amazon in the UK and the USA in a hard cover version.

Hello David,

Many thanks’ you for this information. I will definitely order the book.

Would be interesting for me to know his real relationship to his
intelligence chief in East Africa, Colonel Richard Meinertzhagen.

Regards Holger
