Also General Major von Schwarzhoff's funeral is mentioned,reference "page 239".

Schwarzhoff was the leader of the German delegation to the 1st Hague Convention,1899.

He was Waldersee's second in command in 1900?

Boxer Rebellion SMS Iltis

The German naval ship SMS Iltis was one of seven international ships that saw action against the TAKU Fort in the Chinese Rebellion. It was commanded by Captain Lans. The Kaiser bestowed the Pour le Merit (Blue Max ) on the ship for this action

I can't seem to find anything about Schwarzhoff being under Waldersee online, I'll have to check some books at home before I get back to you on this one.
