Hi Matteus

I only has very little additional information on him. Born 17th February 1882 as Carlo Guiseppe Emilio Fettarappa (he changed it to Fettarappa Sandi in 1925). During WWI he was CoS of 43rd Division in 1917 as a Lt-Col. In 1933 he is refered to as Colonel Fettarappa Sandi (and he is not listed in Ruoli Degli Ufficiali Generali Del R. Esercito 1933) , but after that he is refered to as generale, so he must have been promoted in 1933 or later to Generale di Brigata. In february 1940 he is made a Generale di Divisione of the Reserve. He was removed from the army list in August 1945 awaiting examination and/or trial, so he must have been associated with the RSI in some way. He died in Rome in February 1958.

Hi,

This is the little I can add to Steen's info.

Born in Turin. Generale di brigata in ausiliaria in 1934. As Steen says, he was indeed connected to the RSI, holding the post of Head of the Ufficio Propaganda - Ufficio Storico in the General Staff.

Very best regards,

VJK
