Always shotfrom a low angle & with his nose in the air, Mussolini's portraits make him look like giant. In these photos, he's less than imressive. How tall was he?

Re: Mussolini photos
In the last photo, Mussolini is pictured with a number of senior Hungarian officers. The tall officer next to the Duce is Colonel-General Ferenc Szombathelyi, Chief of the Hungarian General Staff, and second right is the later Colonel-General János Vörös, who took over from Szombathelyi as CGS in April 1944.

Re: Mussolini photos
According to the medical examination made by the Military District of Forlì when Mussolini was drafted into the Army, Mussolini was 1.69 m (about 5' 6.5") tall (source: http://www.larchivio.org/xoom/matricolare.htm). The average height of Italian males born in 1883 was about 1.64 m (5' 4.5") (source: page 20 of La statura degli italiani nati dal 1854 al 1890).
In the last photo posted in this thread, the fourth man from the right is Gen. (or Marshal: I don't know the date of the photo and I am unable to see the rank on the cap or the sleeves) Ugo Cavallero, Chief of General Staff.
