Gentlemen, I need your help. I'm looking for any photos and any info about the next MVSN officers.

Luogotenente Generale Montagna – Führer der Zone Genua,
Console Generale Ballabio - Führer der Zone Bozen,
Console Quara – im Generalkommando,
Console Semadini – Führer der Universitätslegion von Rom
Console Rosa-Uliana - Führer der Generalstabsabteilung im Generalkommando
Commandante Federale Rossi – im Generalkommando,
Primo Seniore Collu – im Generalkommando,
Primo Seniore Rosi - Führer der Legion von Littoria,
Centurione Virazzini,
Capo Manipolo Ederle,
Capo Manipolo Schweiger - im Generalkommando,
Capo Manipolo v.Levoczow-Lantieri - im Generalkommando,
Capo Manipolo Montevago.

In my opinions it correct translate.

Officers accompanied Russo to Germany July 1938:
Major-General Montagna – Leader of the Genoa zone,
Brigade General Ballabio - Leader of the Bolzano zone,
Colonel Quara – in the General command,
Colonel Semadini – Leader of the University Legion of Rome
Colonel Rosa-Uliana - Leader of the General Staff Section in the General Command
Federal commander – in the General command,
Lieutenant-Colonel Collu – in the General command,
Lieutenant-Colonel Rosi - Leader of the Legion of Littoria,
Captain Virazzini,
Lieutenant Ederle,
Lieutenant Schweiger - in the General command,
Lieutenant v.Levoczow-Lantieri - in the General command,

Gentlemen, could someone help me. I`m trying to identify MVSN officers who accompanied gen Russo to Germany in July 1938. These officers can be seen on the photo featuring reception by Goering (image 1). Having searched in many sources I`ve got a list of their surnames and ranks but I can match only a few faces with names. The names of officers are as follows:
Luogotenente Generale Montagna – Leader of Zone Genua,
Console Generale Ballabio - Leader of Zone Bozen,
Console Ferruccio Quara – from General command,
Console Semadini – Leader of university Legion of Rom,
Console Rosa-Uliana - from General command
Commandante Federale Rossi – from General command,
Primo Seniore Collu – from General command,
Primo Seniore Rosi - Leader of Legion of Littoria,
Centurione Virazzini,
Capo Manipolo Ederle,
Capo Manipolo Schweiger - from General command,
Capo Manipolo v.Levoczow-Lantieri - from General command,
Capo Manipolo Montevago

In my opinion the officer under
#1 on photo is Renzo Montagna,
#2 is Gino Ballabio,
#3 is allegedly Commandante Federale Rossi (his first name is not known to me),
Officers #5, #6, #8 were awarded with the Cross of the Order of German Eagle (supposedly they were awarded earlier than 1938 when were delegated to Germany with other Italian high ranking officials or by any other reason that is not known to me),
Attached images 2, 3 and 4 show the same officers during this visit but in different location. Does anybody know what denote straps on officers` fez (image 4), is it essential for identification of ranks?
I also know that Capo Manipolo Schweiger was a translator when Viktor Lutze visited Italy in June 1938, I assume that he is a young man wearing glasses on the image 5.
I made several inquiries to Archivio Storico Luce, Archivio Centrale dello Stato and other institutions but did not get even a single answer. If somebody can help me to identify these officers I`d be very thankful. Any additional information or images concerning these officers (their biography) and visit could be helpful and is very welcome.

General Montagna was an important person in MVSN. In 1935 /36 campaign in Etiopia was the commander of "Gruppo Montagna" , a Division size unit of CNNN. His last command in RSI was as Chief of Police . He survided war and retur to live in his hometown in North italy( in Pavia province) with no problem, and this was not common in the post war days in Nord Italy.

Thanks very much for information, it is obviously very interesting how a known high-ranking official managed to escape trials. If you have information on the other officers I`d be very thankful for sharing.
