Hi,

I read about Savoia Cavalleria attack at Izbushensky and found a name of Major Alberto Litta Modignani. However, in Piekalkiewicz's The Cavalry book, I found that the man who performed same action named as Major Dario Manusardi.

Which name is true for the personality? Or, are they different persons?

Thanks

The commander of the regiment was Colonel Alberto Bettoni Cazzago. Major Alberto Litta Modignani and Major Dario Manusardi both participated in the charge. Litta Modignani was the commander of the 2nd Squadron Group and was killed in the charge; Manusardi, the former commander of the 2nd Cavalry Squadron (he had just been promoted from Captain to Major), participated in the charge at his request.
