Here is a video from Luce showing Italian forces moving forward in 1941. At 00:16 a Laffly S15 runs across the screen.

Since these were used more in Tunisia and Algeria, does anyone know how the Italian Army ended up with one?

The four Laffly belonging to the Motorized Goum unit in Tunisia were confiscated by the Italians in 1940. They were assigned to the 12º Autoraggruppamento A.S. and employed by the raggruppamento esplorante del corpo d'armata di manovra (RECAM) in Nov-Dec 1941. That fits the date of the video.

Info from Gli autoveicoli da combattimento dell'esercito italiano vol 2, pp. 642-3.
