Antonino DiGiorgio's proposal for a Joint Chiefs of Staff in the 1920's?

Post by Lee-Sensei » 23 Mar 2023 06:41

So I was reading an article on Commando Supremo and there was a part where they mentioned Mussolini's war minister proposing an interforce high command. The first one created was German in the 1930's so this would have been ahead of his time. Does anyone know anything about it?

I looked through my sources but I don't have any books that address the development of the Comando Supremo in that time period. Ceva's La condotta italiana della guerra provides some cites of works that might address this question, but I don't have those books.

I posted your question on Comando Supremo as there are members that likely have some answers.
