Second Hint: He was joined by Col. Teucci, the Italian Air Attache in Berlin, when talks were held with Goering on the subject.

This one seems to have been a tough one. :) The answer was General Urbani.

Let's try another along the same theme.

Following the successful talks between Urbani and Goering the Luftwaffe delivered a mix of Bertha' 2s and Bertha' 2/Trops to Comsio in Sicily. How many Ju87's were delivered and on what date?

New Question. The detail in the picture below belongs to a specific Regia Marina ship: which one?

Hint #1: since I wrote "a specific ship" (not "class" or "type"), this means that the equipment shown (a type of triple torpedo launcher, of course) was embarked only on a single-ship class in Regia Marina service. This should fairly restrict the search.

Hint #2: This photo was taken in 1943, onboard a brand-new ship.

Hint #3: the torpedo tubes are 450mm ones.

Let's resume:
- this ship was the only ship in Regia Marina service with triple tubes arranged in "V" shape
- this ship was the only ship in Regia Marina service with triple 450mm tubes
- this ship was the only ship in Regia Marina service of her class
- this ship entered service in 1943

Should we add a picture?

Ariete was the correct answer (the only ship of her class to see R.M. service).

To you

OK, I didn't want to monopolize the quiz, however since 24 hours had passed... (low-traffic section? :( )

It's a FNAB-43

A not too difficult one: this very peculiar Regia plane was purpose-built to operate against a specific enemy target. Which one?
