Savoia Marchetti SM74.
Only three built (1935) nc 21001, 21002, 21003 I-URBE, I-ALPE, I-ROMA
In charge of Sezione Autonoma Trasporto, then 604^ Squadriglia Trasporti from July, 7th, 1940 on. Based at Berka, near Benghazi. It works in Libya and Egypt up to Jan., 7th, 1943 when the last ship comes back in Italy: slightly damaged during the first bombing of Rome, July, 19th, 1943.
One SM74 crashes for flight accident in Calabria (Southern Italy) on oct., 23rd, 1941 the second one is is destroyed by RAF planes at Castelbenito airport, Nov., 2nd, 1941

Which is the Italian airplan,e who saw action during the II WW, armed with a 37 mm gun (of course, except P39 Airacobra, equipping the 4. Stormo after the Armistice) ?

Well, maybe too difficult: it was a two-engine, and saw limited action during the spring of 1943, over Naples.
