I wote for Felix Steiner from the Wiking division.
Simply because what he did for the division, he fought fair,
no dirty tricks and he treated his prisoners with respect.
Another thing, look at all the Wiking veterans who followed
his coffin to his final resting place.
You don't get that if you're not respected and loved leader.

im pretty sure not one general spoke out except von freidburg or something, head of the reserve army of all things. very smart man.

MANSTEIN invented the blitzkrieg??

no it was heinz guderian. HE devised the idea from scratch. HE tailored the armies to the needs of blitzkrieg. HE designed the equipment. HE trained the troops. HE lead them into battle and victory in france. the sicklecut plan was a duo-effort between manstein and guderian. then hitler adopted it as hiw own. my vote goes to guderian. im not sure many people in history have ever done what he did.

i voted for von rundstendt even though i think all of the commaders mentioned here are very good i think rundstendt was a competent field marschal and saw that mobilization was the future
