Hello!

Actually it was 18.Armee with XXXX.A.K. which marched into Paris on 14.June.

From my site:
XXXX.A.K.:

87.Inf.Div., 9.Inf.Div.: reached Paris and the southern suburbs

87.Inf.Div.: marches into Paris. First unit in the morning is Pz.Jg.Abt.187. Gef.Std. of the Pz.Jg.Abt.187 is in the Invalidendom. 1.Kp. occupies the barracks at the Champ de Mars and the area around the Eifel-tower. 3./PJA.187 secure the governemental district and post sentries on the Quai d´Orsay. 2./PJA.187 secures the City hall suqare. At 12:00 the Heresgruppe receives the message that Paris is in german hands.

The parade was done by elements of the 19.Inf.Div. and probably elements of 87. and 9.ID also on 16.June 1940.

Thanks,
The 19th Infantry Division was later converted to the 19th Panzer Division.

I think the story about the 6th Army conducting the parade comes from Shirer;vaguely I recollect that he said that the 4th Infantry Division(later 14th Panzer Div at Stalingrad) did the parading.

Just as a side issue the 23rd Panzer Division adopted the Eiffel Tower as an additional divisional emblem to commemorate the fact the division had been raised in France.
