Hitlers Comments on Blitzkrieg

Hitlers Speech of November 8, 1941, Strategy and Policy
PARTY COMRADES! German Volkgenossen!
I have come here again for a few hours , true to the old custom, in order to speak with you, my first followers and party comrades i arms, and to honor the men who at the time made the greatest sacrifice that they could possibly make for our movement and Germany. When I stood before you the last time, behind us lay a glorious year of events.

At the time I was portrayed as a man who sees a bleak future and therefore no longer dares to continue the struggle. But I never imagined the future to be any different from what actually came to pass. And besides all the glory, I anticipated the sacrifice, and I wanted to spare all sides these sacrifices.
First I wanted to spare our own Volk the sacrifice. But toward the rest of the World, I also felt that, as the victor. I could take responsibility for extending my hand for reconciliation. As I said before, this was not understood by those who never made a sacrifice in their own lives, and had no close contact with the sacrifice of their own people.

So we had no other choice than to fasten on the helmet for good and to step out on that path which would free us for all lime from the dangers threatening not only Germany, but all of Europe.

-----------------------and in the first days of the war, certain Englishmen all of them shareholders in the armaments industry said it openly, "The war must last three years at least, It will not and must not end before three years". That is what they said.-----------------------for us National Socialists, this almost defies comprehension.

Today I can say so for the first time there was something else which also cautioned us. In the year 1940 a number of so called secret sessions of the British House of Commons to place in London. And during these secret sessions, the whiskeyseliger,(whiskey drinking) Churchill revealed his thoughts, hopes and conviction that Russia was on its way to England. Mr. Cripps had given him absolute proof that it would take on to one and a half years at the most until Russia would appear. -----That was the reason behind the incomprehensible courage of this gentlemen at the time. We knew about this all the time, we freed our Southern Flank--------By taking Crete and closing off the Dardanelles, we victoriously concluded this undertaking.

After that I watched every movement of our Great enemy in the east. Since April-May, I was constantly , I would say at the observation post. Without pause , I watched every occurrence, determined at any moment once I realized that the enemy was about to strike twenty four hours earlier if necessary. In mid June the signs became more threatening. By the second half of June, no doubt was left that is was just a question of weeks perhaps only days. And so I gave orders that we should take the offensive on June 22.

Believe me my old party comrades this was the most difficult decision of my life--------------------

Now somebody comes and says taht we had expected this to be done in the east in a month and a half. With all respoect to lighting warfare you still have to march! ---------------------------I have never used the word Blitzkrieg , because it is really a stupid word".-----------------------

Try reading for once instead of wearing your brain out
Hitlers Speech of November 1941, was not a speech or your speech, it was a statement of pure conviction and authority, of Hitlers command over events, those past and those yet to come.
Any form of translation cannot be verbatim, which is not the point, so what is your point.
The entire verbiage of Hitlers Speech of November 1941 can be researched online , and you can complain to them over any discrepancies.
Reading the Speech details Hitlers thinking and decisions concerning the conduct of the war, in general and in specific detail.
Hitlers decisions were the only ones that mattered in this process and that is where every sentence of Hitlers November address has to be studied,
by taking the time to read it, every aspect of Strategy is self evident, by comparing it to events of the War.
Any and All Historical Remarks over Hitlers Strategy are plainly presented in this address.
Such as why did the German Army North not take Leningrad? Hitler answers matter of fact, that anyone that can March the 100s of Kilometers to Leningrad can March the Last Kilometer into the City, and take it. Hitler commented he did not want Leningrad, the city, but to eliminate the arms factories in Leningrad, and considering the fact the Russians were blowing up their own factories, it was not necessary to lose any German Soldiers to take a heap of Ruins, and that it was only necessary to encircle it.
Hitlers address makes it clear the War was already won, as of Nov 1941, the German advance in the East had taken 80 % of Stalins economic means and now it was just a matter of time before Stalin would HAVE to Give up.

Its relevance to Hitlers comments on Blitzkrieg.
27th July 1941 Hitler orders Leeb to take Leningrad
Hitler orders Encirclement of Leningrad only after Army Group North stalls roughly 11km short.
Hitler was simply justifying the initial failure.
Hitlers address makes it clear the War was already won, as of Nov 1941, the German advance in the East had taken 80 % of Stalins economic means and now it was just a matter of time before Stalin would HAVE to Give up
Got this a bit wrong did he not
And its relevance to his comments on Blitzkrieg.

Really missed the bus again.
Hitlers address provides the reasons for the course of events, AT THE TIME, check the timelines, November 1941, Hitlers address can be researched on line. It is easy to point out what happened 80 years after the fact.
Hitlers address explains WHAT HIS THINKING AND DECISIONS APPLIED TO THE ENTIRE ,ENTIRE, ENTIRE, COURSE OF THE WAR, and AT THE TIME HITLERS DECISIONS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT WERE IN EFECT.
Comparing events after the fact is obvious, that Von Leeb was ordered to take Leningrad, Hitler explains that as far as He was concerned on November 1941, it WAS already a heap of ruin. And Hitlers concern was the only one that COUNTED AT THE TIME.
If everyone knew beforehand what would happen, there would be no History.

Historians and Historical Reviews continue to this day to define what was Hitlers Strategy, Hitlers Generals also questioned what was the Strategy for winning the War.
Hitler did not have a Military Strategy for winning the War, that the German Generals were waiting to follow, and they waited and they waited, until 1945.
This is where the plot twists.
Hitler held daily meetings to review information and read reports, from these, Hitler based what might be considered decisions of strategy, or operational matters of policy, that had to meet what Hitler felt was satisfactory, once that standard had been met, the subject was considered closed from then on FOR ALL TIME, in Hitlers own words.
Hitlers address of November 1941 was to silence all Critics and Skeptics FOR ALL TIME, in Hitlers own Words, and to settle the Historical Score, Past Present and Future of any doubt and questions.

Now somebody comes and says taht we had expected this to be done in the east in a month and a half. With all respoect to lighting warfare you still have to march! ---------------------------I have never used the word Blitzkrieg , because it is really a stupid word".-----------------------
