Hi,

The Luftwaffe pilot at left is Hajo Hermann, winner of the Swords to the Knights Cross, no doupts. The other one is familiar but I'm not sure yet.

Hajo it is......can any of you tell whether he is wearing the swords or not..... ? My monitor needs replacing as the tube is going out. Looks to be his aide to his left and the chaps in the background might be other bomber offiziers or offizers of one of the jagdkommando, all listening to one of "Fatty's" boring speeches, alias(pep-talks).

Hi,

It do seams that Hermann is wearing the swords at the actual photo, there is two small dots under his KC that can be taken for the swords, I'm not 100 % sure however, can't recall right now when he got the swords, will check it.

January 23, 1944 as an Oberst actually. He had pretty much stepped out of his JG 300 Kommodore role to 30 Jagddivision kommandeur. As I was mentioning he could of been sitting through one of the R. Marschall's very long speeches while at command HQ at Döberitz......

Tolga, does this film also contain the film shots taken of Leidreiter and Knittel staring to the sky on 18.12.1944?
