I am trying to research the use of a stimulant drug called pervitin and the use of steroids on German soldiers during the war. Can anyone provide me with any information or point me to any resources?

I don't know about any Specific Drugs used by German combat troops , but they were known to use 'uppers', such as Benzedrine in various forms to combat fatigue in times of dire need.
Obviously these troops suffered When they 'came down',
but as a short term measure they were of some use !
Many otherarmies have experimented in consequence of the German use of such drugs, as a defense or in offense !

Pervitin is an amphetamine.The drug was supposedly invented by the Nazis to stimulate soldiers and, through sales to the Japanese military, kamikaze pilots.
