Here's a BDM and RAD id card set, to the same gal...

...BDM photo is interesting, in that it looks like her picture was cut out of a class photo; as you can see the image of some girl standing in front of her. Plenty of renewal stamps, too...
Best,
Tony

Possiby a sister but dont forget there is 6 yrs between the passes, the Hj one is dated October 36 and the RAD one April 42.

Edit,
sorry I thought you were saying the photos in the 2 different passes were someone else!
:D

A mystery post by smoom was deleted here by the Moderator.

smoom, if you have something pertinent to the topic, we’d all love to hear it. Otherwise, please don’t try to “bump” the thread, or add to your post count.

Ah well, you know, someone told me its quality and not quantity that counts ;)
Thus, to ensure this post is not completely superfluous in itself I want to ask is the Reichsarbeitsdienst PaB for members or persons who actively work for the RAD. I never got around to working that out and I have no books on the RAD as such [yeah shock I know but over here I happen to think that the price of some titles like the good schiffer books and Bender publications are a little OTT. Everytime I want a new Schiffer book they are always like £40 or £50 each.]

Matt,

Your posts are never superfluous....either in quality or quantity! And of course I'm not trying to stifle conversation back and forth. The post I deleted truly was nonsense, only two consonants which weren't even an abbreviation.

The title Reichsarbeitsdienstpflichtige inside the RAD-Pass indicates that this was her RAD service. So I'd say that it was for members who were serving their compulsory service.

And I know what you mean about the cost of reference books. Expensive but necessary tools, but it's a hard decision when you have a book in one hand and some choice little relic in the other.....

Some additional information: The Cowderys' Papers Please! indicates that the Paß was given to a woman on completion of her RADwJ service.
