I would be very interested to hear from anyone who knows about what happened to Ilse Krüger who was Bormann's secretary? According to James O'Donnell's book The Bunker she successfully escaped from Berlin. Bormann had advised her to try and ensure she was captured by the British as he claimed that "the British will behave like gentlemen". She was interrogated by a British OSS agent whom she subsequently married. After her release she settled with him in the Wirral, Merseyside. A fascinating story I think you'll agree but can anyone shed any light on this? Or has anyone a photo of her? :)
