According to Hans Stöber's Die Flauabwehrverbände der Waffen-SS she was Flak-Waffen-Oberführerin and Abteilungsführerin der Flak-Waffen-Helferinnen at SS-Flak-Alarm-Abteilung Prag. Has anybody more on her? She managed to bring her girls through the Tschechs to the US-Troops, were taken POW and set free in July 1945.

Hello Jan-Hendrik,

In Jutta Rüdiger's Zur Problematik von Soldatinnen: Der Kampfeinsatz von Flakwaffenhelferinnen im 2. Weltkrieg (Askania: 1987), there is an account of her experiences: Erfahrungsbericht der Flakwaffen-Oberführerin Ruth Windisch. Below is a photo and caption, from the same source.
