I've rekindled some interest in this recently but not much to say about Emma Schneider.

Bromberg in Prussia is the 'germanised' name for Bydgoszcz, the city in Poland. Acquired by Prussia in the 1772 partition and returned to Poland in 1919. This complicates searching for me as I wonder what happened to her and any family. By 1926 Bydgoszcz's German population had significantly decreased from migration.

I wonder if they illegally entered Austria?

Something to think about anyway 🤔

Berta Soldat was registered at the same Klagenfurt address in 1930 and 1935 address books
