GHOSTED Wedding photo!

#244

Post by luft45 » 22 Mar 2010, 03:33

Here is a photo that was double exposed. Creates some cool ghosting of the boy and girl infront of the couple. Also top left of the Panzermans skull badges.

Pic 2. Grrom and Best man.I think the Groom has the Panzerkampfabzeichen III Stufe?? Also the Eisernes Kreuz 1. klasse

Pic 3. I think it is a bit muddy outside the Church?

Luft45,

I am struck by how visibly unhappy some of these people look. I am not sure if it is because the fate of Germany was palpable at that point or they just did not like each other or what.
I don't understand it. If I ever marry (most uncertain at this point), it would be the happiest day of my life. I would never marry a woman I was not head over heels for and madly in love with. Did people just marryy last resorts at a certain point because people were expected to marry young? Again, I just do not get the long faces.

Wedding ceremonies can be stressful events which can account for the facial expressions. Weddings are suppose to be solemn events because of the religious element. People tend to liven up at the wedding reception when alcohol is consumed.
