I think that's Gretl Braun and not Eva.

I agree. Although I can't find them in my files just now, there are other photos taken at the same time, and the woman appears to be Gretl.

Harry von Gebhardt kindly sent me other photos from this series, showing the woman's face, and it does look more like Eva to me now. But I'm not 100% positive - the sisters looked so much alike, it's sometimes hard to say for sure, which is which. But the more I look at this crop, the more I think it was Eva.

(Thanks to Harry von Gebhardt for the photos!)

I see what you mean...the top photo looks like Eva however the closeup clearly defines it's Gretl.

Here are two closeup photos of the sisters. Top is Eva bottom is Gretl. There are distinctive differences. Photos from google. Hope this helps. I'm not 100% certain either, but she looks more like Gretl to me. Gretl looked more like her father Fritz, Eva took after her mother.

I'm now certain it's Gretl...same lips, same smile, same facial line on the left side (our left, not hers) side of her face.

Yes. Those pictures are of Gretl Braun.
Here are some of her from Life Magazine.

Hit on these pictures with your mouse arrow and they will expand into much larger ones.

This is one of her with her daughter who later commited suicide when she was in her early twenties.

I believe that the guy above in the pictures is Hermann Fegelein. They married in the Salzburg Town Hall and the reception was held at the Berghof where those pictures were take. Fegelein was such a boot licking sycophant that none of the other Nazi's could stand him....not even Hitler. He was, however, S.S Chief Himmler's Golden-Boy-Who-Could-Do-No-Wrong and those two got along famously. He worked under Himmler.

Thank's for catching that Brick2. I noticed that it really didn't look like Hermann Fegelein but just assumed it. That's a bad one for me and I will have to be more careful in the future. Wiedemann's a hell of a lot better looking than Fegelein ever was. Too bad Gretl didn't marry Wiedemann instead.

P.S. Here's an interesting article about wiedemann in Time Magazine.

Looks like we could all be wrong. The woman might be someone called Sophie Stork although the woman in the last picture above does look like Gretl Braun. http://forum.axishistory.com/download/f ... ?id=204835
