I gave up on acquiring rights to an authentic period photo, and just faked it myself. I realize the insignia is a little oversized, but I had to be sure it was clear in the tiny cover that Amazon lets you put up. It was NOT easy to find an appropriate young woman willing to model a Nazi gym shirt, but I got lucky!

Thanks to all for your help and advice.

I've put a 3 minute video on YouTube to promote the book: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0VWRpYSVjE

My kids were home from college and hounded me about getting into the 21st Century. We built a website

http://otegopublishing.wordpress.com/

to promote THRESHOLD OF A DREAM and some of my other books. Reviews (here and/or on Amazon) would be greatly appreciated!

Book sales and website traffic have been slow so far, but I'm not advertising yet as I'm concentrating on marketing a wooden fishing boat. The Youtube video has ad 211 views. I did some promotional freebies of other titles on Amazon and moved about a thousand copies, but my royalties so far .... well, I'm not quitting my day job.

If you want to narrow down your search, I suggest the East Prussian archives. How is the book coming along otherwise?

Eugenics is not an easily popularized topic, so book sales fizzled quickly after the promotions ended. Perhaps, if Herr Trump becomes the American Fuhrer, public enthusiasm for better living through genetics will have a resurgence...how is that for a terrifying rhyme of history? How do I get to Canada?
