very interesting pictures. But a question: in many pictures she is wearing this black tunic, but in one appears SS style sleeve eagle on her left hand. The one she is shaking hands with somebody during the visit in Norway.
with best regards

A nice portrait...good find Helge. She is attractive in this one, probably taken in her mid twenties.

Link to youtube video featuring speech by Gertrud with various still photos.

NICE photo, Helge! This is an early photo of her between 1934 and 1936 when she was in charge of the Deutscher Frauenarbeitsdienst, the precursor of the RADwJ, which was at the time a division of the NS Frauenschaft. For a color photo of the sleeve diamond she's wearing see http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 1#p1644421.

In another life she looks like she would belong in a Nunnery.

From my recent information Gertrud Scholtz Klink is not dead in Babenhausen. After his release from prison was not resident in Babenhausen. The place of residence and death is Brackenheim. This is consistent with the place of death of Heissmeyer in Schwäbisch Hall (hospital and no residence). Evidently they lived together in Brackenheim .
