Her husband ran Coca-Cola West Germany after the war. But he died decades before her. Does anyone know how she survived financially? (Did her children support her?) What I'm curious about is if she ever received any kind of state pension or government benefits (such as medical care)?

Here's a 1934 photo of Gertrud Scholtz-Klink. It appears in the Heinrich Hoffmann Collection at NARA and it follows the photo posted by Vikki (http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 5&start=15 halfway down the page). Notice she's wearing the same clothes. (Source: NARA)

Re: Pictures of Gertrud Scholtz-Klink
Hello,
this contribution may seem a bit off-topic but since this appears to be the only AHF thread dedicated to Gertrud Scholtz-Klink in particular I think I'm right here nonetheless. The topic says 'Pictures of Gertrud Scholtz-Klink' and sort of they are, 253 scanned pages of her de-nazification file made available by the Baden-Württemberg State Archive via this link:
https://www2.landesarchiv-bw.de/ofs21/b ... he=&logik=
To read them click on the preview of the page you want to see. A new page opens with just that preview again. Place your cursor on the upper left corner of the preview, click the left mouse button and keep it down while you move the cursor to the lower right corner. Then you can let the mouse button go, having defined the area you want to see in full size.
When you click on the menue option Druck/Download you can save the scan for your own use either as .jpg or .pdf file.
Enjoy
Torsten
