Wife of Max Pauly

Hello
I looking for information about the wife of Neuengamme Commandant Max Pauly. Her name was Käthe and she died in august 1944. Does anyone know how she died?

Date of death: August 19, 1944. Exact name: Käte Scharf. Date of marriage: June 21, 1930
