Uniform question

#1

Post by viktorija » 04 Jan 2023, 19:15

Hello,
I found these two pictures while searching about the Latvian Legion and I was wondering what kind of uniforms are they. Are they some kind of German uniform or Latvian? (They are part of 15th SS)

Thank you for the reply! Sadly they didn't really talk about the uniform itself, but about the sunburst symbol..

It is a Latvian uniform. About the sunburst symbol, they thought that the Sun is a symbol of eternal movement, fertility, and life. The Sun or Saule is considered a protecting force. cubes 2048
