Lebensborn
I am currently seeking information about the Lebensborn project. Particularly information about the fate of the children conceived. Are they registered or does anybody know of any files/documentation which exist.
Any information on links welcome.
Thanks

After the DDR went down parts of the wartime Lebensborn administration were found in East German archives, which included cards with the identity and personal files of many (but not all) Lebensborn children. The Lebensborn archive can be found at the Bundesarchiv (German National Archives) in Berlin.

I don't know if this will help but I found this homepage when a documentary regarding the fate of some norwegian lebensborn-children where shown on Swedish television.
http://home.no.net/lebenorg/
The documentary is mentioned on that hompage, you might be able to find it somewhere, I think that it was partially made in english.

Peter Neumann (Newmann?) was an SS man who wrote a book entitled "The Black March." It was previously published as "Other Men's Graves" (also published in French, I believe). I read the book years ago. Neumann did a temporary duty assignment as a stud at one of the Lebensborn facilities. Very interesting. He and his mate produced a child.
