She was born in 1912 - and thus only 33 when she chose to die with Hitler. Pretty - a matter of personal opinion.....but perhaps something more than the little 'Dummkopf' that history tends to label her.

Helly Angel,

It's really a great photo where it's possible to notice all Eva Braun's beauty.

Could you give me the source of that photo? When and where was taken?

It seems the photo was taken at Berghof.

Sometimes I wonder if The Führer had a real physical attraction for this cute girl.

Hello Roderick,

The photo was taken in the Berghof and belong to the Frentz collection.

I had to removed the photo accord instructions of the Moderator to avoid troubles with teh copyright, since the beginning my intention was share and colaborate with others. Unfortunatelly a few groups of dinosaurs are the owners of the history.

This commentary is not relationated with timo-moore affair.

Best,

Those that are up now (from Getty) are from Fasching (read: Mardi Gras a la Munich) that is about the only occasion on which she would dare to wear so much make-up. Der Chef didn't like cosmetics, but she continued to were make-up in moderation throughout her life. Also- the bottom photo isn't Eva; it's her younger sister, Gretl- probably taken the same day. You can tell it's Gretl (although the two girls looked a lot alike) by the hair color. Eva's hair was never that dark.

Evas father related to Wernher von Braun? Is there a source for that? Braun is a very common family name in Germany. Eva´s familiy is from Upper Bavaria, the von Braun familiy were east prussian squires and landholders.

Eva Braun was 33 when she committed suicide. See the new book "The Untold Story of Eva Braun," available from Amazon.

And this trivia quiz page also says that Gretl (spelling the name "Gretle") was 16 when she married Fegelein.

I can't really take any webpage like this seriously.

Your right Geoff Walden. I didn't read through it as thoroughly as I should have. Gretl was a couple of years younger then Eva who commited suicide at age 33. Gretl was 31 when she married Fegelein.
I wish there was some way that I could delete that last post out. Sorry...Bob
