It was in with a bunch of pictures of her in the British Pathe group. It might not be her but when your young like this kid is you can change a lot growing up into adulthood. I can see it in some of her features. I can see it in the sweep or arch of her eyebrows among other things. The origional picture was a lot wider and I had to "narrow" it a little, but I dont know how accurate I was. I will include the origional for comparison.
If I find it isn't her then I shall remove it.

The origional of her...

I think it looks like Inga Ley also.
She is very young and yet not grown up
and sophisticated in the photo.

I still don't see a resemblance after poring over every photo on this thread. Inga Ley has her hair parted in the middle in every adult photo and has a rodent-like face with high brows, eyes wide apart, and very pursed lips. It's true that young girls can look different from adult (like any child) but some similarities should be detected...I fail to find any from this photo above. The photo on bottom of page 11 makes her look almost like a transvestite. I guess she was taller than her husband.

That's an interesting description. I always thought there was a mild resemblance with Jenna Elfman.

Now that's quite interesting as I see what you mean by Jenna Elfman, especially the photo on page 4 of this thread ( page 4, 3rd photo from top down, 2nd up from bottom..she is wearing a cap with a veil)....she looks almost a complete double of Jenna in that photo. That is a good comparison (someone ought to tell Von Trotha down in the AHF LOUNGE under the "Totally Alike Third Reich Personalities" section).

Ouch! Other than that I have to admit to being attracted to her but am bothered by her closeness to Hitler with all the evil that we was spawning in Nazi Germany. Her husband Robert Ley used slaves from the concentration camps to keep their yard up at their private residence. As much as I hate to think about it she had to be backing his horrible racial policies up or, at least, turning a blind eye to it all. I don't like to think it but she must have been doing this. Very disappointing if true.

P.S.
As for the picture I posted (see above) of her as a child, I am trying to locate the batch of online photos of her that I got it from and will post them soon as I find them.

Bob...at the very least, she could have suffered from aloof indifference concerning her husband's profession (and the regime's ideology)....however, even that indifference can be construed as complicity, beautiful physical looks notwithstanding. :(

I agree Rob. It's sad but, I'm afraid, true.

I agree, it gives me some trouble to think of this delicate woman who married into the inner nazi circle. Maybe it will ease our minds if I post a photo of her, not looking very good at all? I found one. But I suppose it won't do the trick, since she still looks like a person with a beautiful soul.

Good picture of her pasdubo. Yes, she does look like a person with a beautiful soul and I hope it's the truth but who can really tell.

This photo was published here but not complete, here you can see the complete photo. In a cruiser in 1939, I think the man in the right is Heinrich Hoffmann,

I believe she would have been considered Mitläufer, had she survived the war.

I think your right about that Rob. If she survived the war I wonder what she would have thought about Hitler now?
