Hi,I see TOE of Soviet antitank brigades had 48 x 76mm field guns, 48 x 85mm heavy AA guns and 24 x M-60 107mm field guns, all for antitank works and plus 16 x 37mm AA guns and 72 x 12.7mm AAmachine gun.

But I see some sources that M-60 was not deployed actually in these units, when the war started in June 1941, exactly what are they equipped ? and how many guns they have ?

And Soviet really adopted 85mm AA guns for AT work in june 1941 ?

It depends. For example, brigades of the West Sp. Military District as of 13.6.41:
6 Br. - 40 76-mm guns
7 Br. - 40 76-mm guns
8 Br. - 24 76-mm, 18 107-mm guns
("Na Zemle Belarusi..." (2006)
On the other hand 3 Brigade as of 29.6.41:
674 Regiment: 36 76-mm guns, 4 AA 37-mm guns
719 Regiment: 24 76-mm guns, 8 85-mm AA guns, 8 37-mm AA guns

Yes, partly.

There were many mod. 1910/30 available.

Hello, Art,thank so much for your detailed information.I see the manpower of 1941 Brigade was big one, had 6,800 men and in 1943 Tank brigade, obviously had less manpower but more gun in proportion with number of man. Only 1200 men, but had 40 x 76mm guns, 20 x 45/57mm AT guns and 60 x ATR.

According to "Na Zemle Belarusi..." the average strength of the three brigades of the Western District (6, 7, 8 Brigades) on 13.6.41 was about 2500 men. Also a serious lack of tractors and motor transport.
