Handbook on military supply

Post by Art » 22 May 2020 17:58

A publication from the second half of 1942 with a description of military supply and administration system on theater of operations. Also various reference data (authorized weapons strength of various units, size of the ammunition load for various weapons and units; fuel, forage and food requirements, loading of various cargo on trucks and rail cars etc)

Great find...Wow 177 pages.

I gave it a quick look and did not see any maps or diagrams. I will go back and look in detail.

Thanks Art

Agreed, a great find and thanks for pointing it out. Looks similar to some of the US 'reference data' type publications, covering basics such as movement and composition of various unit types. The ammunition info is about the only part I can make out as that's something I'd looked at before.
