Turret - I suppose too and the single open mount probably the MO-1-180
At least according to the info from:
Three coast defense mounts using these guns were in service. The first one was MO-8-180 using 8"/50 (20.3 cm) guns relined to 180 mm/56 (7.1") with ballistics identical to those of the B-1-P gun. A total of 9 mounts were built in 1933-35 and all were installed in the Far East. The second coastal mount was another open mounting designated as MO-1-180 and designed in 1934. A total of 42 mounts were built by June 1941 and these were installed in 12 batteries located all around the Soviet coastline.

On picture # 1 it's a 76,2 mm Pattern 1914/15 "Lender's Gun", the main Soviet AA gun in the 20's and 30's.

On picture #2 I don't think it's a 152 mm Canet. It could be a 130 mm Pattern 1913.

Hi all,

Can anyone help me identify this coastal gun? I know it's difficult question because you can only see the rear part of the cannon, but.... I think it is of Russian origin; perhaps a 203mm or 152mm cannon.

Possibly a Russian/Soviet modernized (barrel turned upside down to increase elevation/range) Vickers 203/50 gun.

It could also be a 152 mm Canet gun with the barrel turned upside down as in some Finnish configurations. :?

I think the recoil cylinder/spring assembly resembles more the (Russian/Soviet) Vickers 203mm one.

I agree with you, 6" Canet recoil springs looks different:

The gun of question should be 203-mm.

I agree, the recoil assembly did not seem to quite match the Canet gun in the first place.

But which 203 mm is it ? Pattern 1905?
