They are from the Soviet Encyclopedia "Civil War and Military Intervention in the USSR" (Гражданская Война И Военная Интервенция В СССР).

I've never seen anyone dispute their accuracy, but they don't show much by way of Soviet defeats.

Based on the Google translation of the titles of the maps on the Polish-Soviet War, they are definitely "Soviet" maps:
=The defeat of the troops of the bourgeois-landlord Poland and Wrangel
04-11.1920 (b / w 585 KB - GV Kuzmin "Civil War and military intervention in the USSR")
Yes, I was smiled by the title. :D

But anyway soviet retreat from Vistula and eventual front line are shown
=Polish-Soviet war. The defeat of Wrangel's troops
04-11.1920 (tsv. 734 KB - Military Encyclopedia)
tsv. means colour (цветной).
There is no waste, there are reserves (Slogan of German Army in World Wars)

Regarding the Soviet-Polish War of 1920 there are decent maps from Melikov&Kakurin here:

Thank you, Art. Now if only Google could translate the cyrillic text in the gif.
The maps from Pilsudski's book on the Polish-Soviet war have been taken off-line. But I found these:
