Art,
Very Informative. May I impose upon you to ask if you are able to post similiar tables for the 2 Fronts Opposite East Prussia (2nd & 3rd Belorussian).

Cheers

Here it is:
http://s42.radikal.ru/i096/1010/05/d7c5698725f2.png
Equipment and personnel strength of combat units as of 10 January 1945, personnel in noncombat units as of 1 January. Only serviceable weapons are shown.
Number of AFVs in units of the 3 Belorussian Front by 19.00 12 January 1945 (from "Frontline illustration", No. 1, 2005):
http://i060.radikal.ru/1010/40/2b88328dbf13.jpg
Total 1552 serviceable tanks and SP guns, while "Operations" give 1272. My assumption, that in the strength reports part of SP guns were counted in "artillery" column, that must explain the difference.

From the comparsion above, German had around 400 panzer or StuG in large formations while Russian ( only Zhukov units ) had nearly 2,000 tank or SP in large formation.

Of course, this figures is not complete as German had some StuG III deployed in separate StuG Brigade and also some separate sPz.abeilung with Tiger tanks.

Art, do you also have same figures on Konev's 1st Ukraiann Front in this moment ?

In this Oder Vistula offensive, Soviet casualties were relatively light in comparsion with Bagration : 178,000 Soviet died in Bagration and in Oder Vistula, only 43,000 killed.

Can anyone let me know how many guns and numbers for each type of gun in the offensive opening bombardment or even better how many guns were deployed in each bridgehead.

I can give only general numbers:

Also there were 10,7 thousands guns and mortars over 100-mm caliber from the total 32,2 thousands.
