I have come accross several Russian blog sites and forums showing the Soviet losses tank and SPG losses in WW2. These data had already been provided by Krivosheev years ago but now the data are also given by type. I am interested in knowing the background to this information. Is it a calculation from an author? Does it come from an archive?

Tank and SPG losses to all causes:

- 1.235 IS
- 3.755 KV
- 41.971 T-34
- 370 T-28
- 7.124 BT
- 9.097 T-26
- 10.881 T-60/70
- 2.675 amphibian.
- 176 Mk-4

I take it that these numbers:

- 783 MK-1/2/3/5/7
- 2.301 Mk-9/-11

are Canadian/UK Valentine, Churchill and Matilda tanks?

I assume so. I was going to check those designations to be sure but I have been quite busy in recent days.
