Any chance you could help find a copy of:

010/371 - мотострелковый батальон (мотострелковой бригады штата № 010/370).

or even ЦАМО РФ, ф.316, оп.4487, д.149 "Штаты полевого управления армии, танковых и механизированных соединений и частей", л.441

I am looking myself but it is very slow as I cannot speak Russian.
I've looked through the Russian part of the internet and was unable to find anything. As for "old fashioned" way, I have no access to their (or ours, for that matter) military archives, and have no contacts with the guys who have. And my chief historical interest is Imperial Japanese Navy, so my knowledge of Soviet military organization is probably worse, than yours :(
Of course, If I'll manage to find anything, I'll post it here.

I have nothing from Russian sources about 010/420 at all, so all my comments about this shtat come from the Red Army Handbook which has this shtat starting in Sept 1942 and then being amended in Jan 1943 (details over on the other thread). Charles Sharp agrees with this with his German FHO intelligence information.

The only references that I have to 010/420 at all in Soviet sources are:
Decree № GFCS-2791ss of 28 January 1943 On the formation of ten tank armies
Decree No. 019 of NKO January 10, 1943 "To change the regular organization in units and formations of tank and mechanized Corps».

So until I find this shtat or one relating to the Motorised Infantry Battalion, I cannot confirm either way.

That's the problem. First explicit mention of 010/420 shtats is from early 1943. Before that only 010/370 is mentioned.
