Hi, Olia, do you have data on casualties on senior commanders of II Cavalry Corps and its three divisions : 38th, 62nd and 70th Cavlary divisions in this battle ? Were they killed , captured or survived ?

I try to read this link above, but I don't know Russian language, But I cross checking their OOB with related number in this link, and I guess from this link :

Commander of 70th Cavalry Division was killed on 28th May 1942

Commander of 38th Tank Brigade was killed on 27th May 1942

Commander of 64th Tank Brigade was killed on 27th May 1942

Commander of 198th and 199th Tank Brigades were killed on 26th May and 22nd May 1942 respectively.

Commander of 6th Tank Brigade was killed on 15th May 1942

Commander of 131st Tank Brigade was killed on 14th May 1942.

Commander of 2nd Cavalry Corps was killed on 27th May 1942.

If any member know Russian Language, please help me to see this link to look at what I guess those data above in this link. Hope someone can help on that and to tell me how accurate I am in this.

38 Cavalry Division surrounded in Izyum -Barvenkovo
Colonel Selikhov S.S. - Division Commander, MIA 25/05/1942 (or KIA 11/05/1942)
Major Subbotin F.M. - deputy commander (or division commander since 12.05.1942) - seriously wounded, survived
Lt. Col. Zakharenko I.L. - Chief of Staff, MIA 25.05.1942

Colonel Grigorovich V.I. - the division commander, 25/05/1942 twice wounded, came out of the encirclement
Lt. Col. Morozov E.N. - Deputy division commander, 25/05/1942 MIA
Major Rogulchenko G.S. - Chief of Staff, 25/05/1942 MIA

70 Cavalry Division surrounded in Izym-Barvenkovo​​-Lozovaja:

Colonel Yurchik N.M. - died 28/05/1942, buried.
Senior Battalion Commissar Kaplan P.M.- Military Commissar, MIA 20-25.05.1942
Colonel Kapralov N.M. - Deputy division commander, MIA 20-25.05.1942
Lieutenant Colonel Karpov A.E.- Chief of Staff, was captured 26/05/1942 (released in May 1945)

38 independent tank brigade:

Lt. Col. Zurin P.Z - the brigade commander, KIA 27/05/1942
Sen. Battalion Commissar Machigin P.G. - Military Commissar, MIA
Major Lagunov A.I. - Chief of Staff, KIA 27.05.1942 near Petrovka

Do you know Liet Col.Andreev ,commander of 26th Cavalry division and Col.Ivanovich, commander of 341st Rifle division also killed or survived in this battle ? Thank
