Question concerning Soviet reinforcements system 1944

Do I assume correctly that around 1944 the wounded who were treated in the medical facilities outside their own rifle division later (after healing) as a rule returned to their own division? They were not "thrown" into some pool (reserve unit)?

There were specific orders in regard to officers and enlisted personnel of guards units. I mean returning to their units after recovery. I believe in most case enlisted men after hospitals would be processed by replacement regiments and used to fill shortfalls in an arbitrary unit.

Ok, thanks for the comment. Indeed the NKO ordered already in December 1941 that members of Guard units must be returned to their units after recovery.
