I've just been reading Viktor Korzh's excellent 'Red Star under the Baltic' and tried to find out a little more about him.
However every website I found came up with the same refrain: "The author was born in 1912 in the small Russian village of Melguny, Viktor Korzh graduated from the Naval Training College in 1938 as a submariner engineer" which is lifted straight from the book's dust-jacket.
Does anyone have any more information on him ?

Thanks Greg.
I'm really surprised that there's not much more information readily available on this guy.
