Here is a propaganda picture of a razvedchik or reconnaissance soldier that belongs to the Black Sea Naval Infantry also known as the Black Death. I took this picture from John Erickson's book, Le front de l'est en images, 1941-45. Does any body know what is the name and rank of this soldier? Thank you

My 'Janes' says he's a Kapitan III Ranga (Commander) - but he seems rather young, his rings too narrow and too swathed in cartridges for that - is he a senior NCO?
