VVS airbases around Manchuria in 1945

Post by Spikes » 03 Feb 2019 16:56

Hi all,

I am trying to do some research on Soviet airbases around Manchuria/Russia for the Soviet invasion of Manchuria. Additionally I'm looking for Japanese airfields as well, but to a lesser extent. I know there were a lot of aircraft on both sides that participated in this campaign, mainly on the Soviet side.

I've looked around a couple topics here detailing the aircraft used in the battle, but I'm trying to find locations of airfields to accurately place them on a map. A few documents I've looked at have maps of the major cities but nothing really detailing airfields in particular.

Some resources I've looked at so far:

And obviously...Wiki. :)
