A short answer is no: an official political doctrine was non-predestination. The goal was declared as liberation from "the bolshevist yoke", a further political organization was to be established by something like a referendum or elections. That being said, monarchist ideas even of the most radical kind became popular with some Russian officers.

What involvement did the Provisional Government, led by Socialist Revolutionary Party politician Alexander Kerensky, have in the Civil War?

After a short period of struggle for power in October 1917 the Provisional Government simply disappeared an played virtually no role in events thereafter.

Yeah, there was a Russian Constituent Assembly that was elected at the end of 1917 and briefly existed in early 1918 before the Bolsheviks and Left SRs forcibly shut it down, but that was after the Russian Provisional Government was already overthrown by the Bolsheviks:

I have read Dennikins account of the civil war. He was certainly not fighting to restore the Royal dynasty.
There is a downloadable PDF version of Dennikins book on this site somewhere if I remember correctly.
