IS-4 1944 trial armor resistance to german guns.

As we can see the 160mm plates showed consistently inferior ballistic limits to those obtained with these guns by the germans against their domestic RHA. Except in once case, 88mm AP against 160mm/30°. I'm quite confident I've converted the distances reported to striking velocities correctly. The striking difference in performance between 0 and 30° is probably the result of damage to the shell with increased obliquity and velocity. Could those have been the early 88mm PzGr.39/1, I wonder?
The values reported for IS side armour were perhaps obtained on two different plates, one inferior and another about equal in resistance to german RHA.
