Russian Bolshevik treatment of disfigured Russian veterans
Russian Bolshevik treatment of disfigured Russian veterans of the Red Army or "samovars" were equally heartless according to Beevor's book..
Most of them were deported from Moscow because the Bolshevik authorities does not want difigured and limbless Red Army veterans lingering around in the streets of Moscow..Thanks to Beevor, an unknown or forgotten chapter of WW2 were reopened again

I am just curious if you read anything else about Russia besides the books of Beevor . Do you really think that he is considered to be an authoruty on Russia ?
If you are really interested in anything else besides phony Rusophobia you can try books by Bykov,Grosmann , Fadeev ,Simonov ,Solshenytsyn etc.
And if you don't trust the Russian writers you can try R. Overy.

I don't understand why the Red Army dishonored their own soldiers were disfigured while laying their lives for their motherland..Not even the class consicous wehrmacht treated their own soldiers like that.
Furthermore, even Red Army and Dzugashvilli worshippers always pride themselves with the heroic Red Army saved Europe from the fascist beast where they even treat their own disfigured veterans "samovars" like criminals just like beevor pointed out...
Why Bolsheviks are like that...they are even worse than the vilest nazis

I thought that the Wehrmacht was known to have removed class difference between it's soldiers and officers and made more effective because of this.panzermahn wrote:I don't understand why the Red Army dishonored their own soldiers were disfigured while laying their lives for their motherland..Not even the class consicous wehrmacht treated their own soldiers like that.

As Beevor has stated in his book Berlin, the Wehrmacht are class conscious especially the Heer which most of the officers are dominated by Prussian military caste..although they are class conscious, the german army generals usually address their men affectionately as kinder....
at least the Wehrmacht did not deport their veterans for being disfigured in the service of their countries
