I have looked through all of the documents that I have on the Southern Front.
There is a problem, they only show the units in the vicinity of Odessa, untill the Independent Coastal Army was formed, after that they only cover the units in the SFront Armies. There isn't anything that would be useful to you! I am sorry, that Army was directly under the Stavka, and I don't have anything on these independent armies. If there is something else that you need I will try and help.

I know this thread is very, very old. I'm doing research on the Crimean Campaign during WW2. I'm trying to find good data on when units arrived for the Soviets. I have a complete order of battle but reinforcement info I have is on a monthly basis only. I need to narrow down the arrival time with a given month for a number of units. Can anyone suggest where i might find such info?

Over the course of the Crimean campaign Nafziger lists the following units arriving....( Most of the units listed under Jan '42 actually arrived sometime during December and took part in the offensive that started late in the month.

I need to determine, as far as possible, at what point within the month these units arrived

You might look at Three Kings: Axis Royal Armies on the Russian Front 1941, which might have some information, it references the Russian book 'The Defense of Odessa' extensively. Check also From Barbarossa to Odessa: The Luftwaffe Strikes South East June - October 1941: Air Battle for Bessarabia, 22nd June - 3rd August 1941 Pt. 1 and Pt.2 (could only find Part 1 on Amazon).

These might give some tidbits of information. Not much in English that covers the battle.

On 23 November 1941 renamed from the 2 Cavalry Division of the Sevastopol garrison.

109 infantry div

The same unit as above. 2 division was renamed as 109 on 29 January 1942.

Arrived to Sevastopol by sea on 21 December 1941.

Arrived to Sevastopol on 23-24 December.

388 infantry div

Arrived to Sevastopol on 8-12 December.
