Insignia ID

That's a cap insignia for the NS-RKB (Nat.Soz. Reichskriegerbund = National Socialist Reichs War Veterans' Association)
The stylized building in it's center, although sometimes mistakenly referred to as a lighthouse, is the Kyffhäuser memorial, by the way.

See also here for a picture of a cap with this insignia:

and here for an earlier thread on this organisation:

Hi

As some of you may recall, I made the move to British/Commonwealth medals some years ago. I was losing faith due to Russian grave dugs, repros and fakes entering the market. I sold off what WW2 German items I had to give my self a starter fund. However, to further fund that hobby, I buy and sell other Militaria. Profit goes into medals. I'm not a dealer, no brick and mortar; just at the odd show with trays of bits from all over and all eras. I don't often do it but occasionally buy WW2 German. Last week a local fellow had some things to get rid of. :)

Some NS-RKB items that passed through me recently. No, they're not for sale as they're already sold. I may be out of WW2 German but I still know those that aren't.

Enjoy.

regards
A :)
