Nothing has been reversed, this is original image presenting german troops entrance to Belgium in 1940.Y
es it is true I think I've made a small mistake as for stahlhelm version.
But I am still thinking about this M16 .

Note the Cheveron on the right sleeve indicating he is a veteran of the First World War.

Rash,
The negative/print HAS BEEN reversed.... there is NO CHEVRON for WW 1 service in the Wehrmacht (the SS had an "Alte Kampfer" chevron worn on the right sleeve but that had nothing to do with WW 1 service either!)...... the helmet is either an M35 or M40, certainly not a M16/18 "Coal schuttle" WW 1 helmet.... look closely and you can see the breast eagles are on the wrong side, as Mustareata costel stated.

Hello all :

Either the photo has been reversed, or all of these German soldiers have been issued with uniform jackets
that have the buttons on the wrong side........

Better, he is also an NCO candidate. Note the strip on his shoulder board.
